Record Comments:  This record is part of a circle-art series that illustrates groove lines of a vinyl disc with the content's subject illustrated in place of the record label.  The first Story Teller records on the Disneyland label can be found in this series.

The story for this issue is told by Dal McKennon as Uncle Remus while James Baskett provides the vocals for the songs.  The record was issued with different backs and inside back cover illustrations. This back has eleven photos of other Story Teller issues with Disney characters dancing on records on the inside of the back cover.  The storybook includes eight unnumbered pages.

Subject Notes:  Song Of The South is a Disney, live-action movie that includes some animated sequences.  Some of the animated sequences include a combination of animation and live characters.  The movie premiered in theaters during November of 1946.  The running time is approximately 94 minutes.
